Yes, when you contact Freedom Wellness, the only information required from you is the name of your employer. Your employer may receive utilisation statistics on the number of people using the support, but no personal, identifying information will be disclosed (companies under 50 employees do not receive this data). No one will know that you have contacted the service unless you choose to disclose this information. The Freedom Wellness team is bound by professional standards regarding confidentiality and the disclosure of details of individuals who have contacted Freedom Wellness.
The InitialPoint of contact with Freedom Wellness is via the platform, video call, phone call, or text-based, and is completely down to the member’s preference. The member will be able to discuss an unlimited number of topics with the therapist. Each topic has 5 sessions of treatment with a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) registered therapist. This can be virtual, telephone, or face to face (F2F). F2F takes a bit longer to set up compared to virtual.
You can access Freedom Wellness as often as you need, with no overall limit on how many times you use the service. However, some individual support options have set annual limits, such as a fixed number of counselling or coaching sessions per topic, capped consultation times for legal and financial advice, and defined allowances for specialist programmes like mindfulness or CBT. These limits reset each policy year, while resources like recorded seminars remain available without restriction.
Absolutely not. In fact, we encourage people to contact Freedom Wellness as soon as the issue arises. We recognise that there is a lot to juggle on a day-to-day basis, and sometimes we could all do with some extra support to help us manage life’s everyday challenges.

Alternatively, or in addition, you may be referred to one of our counselling team who will assess the best form of counselling support to suit your needs.
The service is provided by an independent specialist provider of employee support services, which has been providing this service since 1982 and is completely independent from your organisation. They do not assess the eligibility of any claims.
Freedom Wellness is staffed by a team of highly trained and qualified professionals who are experts in fields such as wellbeing, family matters, relationships, debt management, workplace issues, consumer rights, counselling, and much more. You can be confident that the information you receive is accurate, up to date, and relevant to your particular circumstances.
