A family-run private medical insurance provider, based in Poole, Dorset, since 2003.
Freedom Health Insurance began in 2003 as a family business with a simple conviction: that people deserve to feel genuinely in charge of their own healthcare. More than 20 years on, we are still family-run and still based in Poole, Dorset. What began on the Dorset coast now reaches much further. Today we look after individuals and businesses in the UK and internationally, bringing the same personal, human approach to every one of them.

Insurance is a promise to the client, with genuine human interaction running through it. Technology supports the business; our people deliver the promise.
We start from the client’s problem and, through our access to a panel of carriers providing insurance capacity, build an answer around it. We can provide the solution in full or support you in delivering it.
We handle underwriting administration, claims, compliance, IT and management reporting in-house, with our own actuarial function and more than two decades of data. As a coverholder at Lloyd’s, with access to a panel of carriers, we support partners from a single, joined-up operation.

We work with intermediaries placing a scheme and third-party administrators, known as TPAs, looking for an administration partner.
